Blue Sky Goals

While examining your priorities for the second half of the year, you might want to consider a great exercise called “Blue Sky.” You have probably heard the expression, “The sky’s the limit.” Essentially that means there are no limits. This week, consider important areas of your life like your health, relationships, and work. In each area, think of the most fantastic and unlimited goals you can imagine. Try not to edit yourself. For example:
  • I am more fit than I have ever been in my adult life
            or
  • I am in the caring and loving relationship of my dreams
            or
  • I am working in my ideal job and love what I’m doing
Right now, don’t worry about how you will accomplish these things; just write down as many goals as you can think of. We’ll get to more details later.
Have fun with this exercise. Remember, the sky’s the limit!

Take some time to think about and imagine your biggest goals. Write them down. Don’t worry about how you will achieve them. Share your experience below.
