One of the primary causes of procrastination is perfection. You might even call it the curse of perfection. Consider these scenarios:
- “I’m not going to start now because I won’t be able to finish.”
- “I just need to do a little more research (or get more data) before I begin.”
- “I’m not sure I have the right tools to get started.”
- “I don’t think I have enough talent to even attempt…”
- “I just want to do it perfectly.”

This week, notice if you use any of these excuses (or any additional favorites)! If so, write down what you tell yourself. Then write about what happens when you use this excuse. Share your thoughts below.
