One Step At A Time

This month I have discussed creating a list of goals, and finding the “why” of each goal. Finding the underlying reason each goal is important will help you select one or two goals on which to focus. This week, I suggest you take your selected goal(s) and break the goal down into tiny steps. For example, if weight loss is the goal you are focusing on, consider steps like:
  • Determine your goal weight, or better yet, break down weight loss into five or ten pounds as mini goals.

  • Do some menu planning, determining in advance what you will be eating at each meal.

  • Plan regular grocery shopping trips, and schedule time for cooking.

While you will eventually want to get to each goal on your list, starting with one goal and small steps within that goal, you will be building on your success on a day-to-day basis. Give it a try, and share your thoughts below.

Take good care,
