Decades before British recording artist Emeli Sandé came out with a song titled “Read All About it,” the expression “Extra! Extra! Read all about it!” was used to sell newspapers.
What if your goals or intentions for the New Year became a newspaper headline? Consider the following:
- Grandmother Goes on Play Dates with Grandchildren
- Middle-age Mother Gets Annual Check-up
- Man Proves He Can Actually Lose Ten Pounds
- Home Executive Cleans Office
You get the idea. This week, try writing your intentions or New Year’s resolutions as a headline. Notice if it makes the intention more interesting or enticing. Then do some writing about the experience.
Share what you learned below.
Take good care!
