Last week I introduced the concept of everyday creativity---those small things we already do that are or can be creative. But what if you looked for and purposely added one new creative activity every day? Consider these ideas:
- Add something new and different to a recipe.
- Wear a new item of clothing or wear something you already own, differently.
- When walking or driving, purposely take a different route.
- Try a new food when you go out to eat.
- Move things around on a shelf so it looks different.
Everyday, write down what creative action you took. At the end of the week, do some writing about what you noticed when you consciously added a creative activity each day.
