But I Have Promises to Keep

You are likely to be familiar with these famous lines from Robert Frost’s poem, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening,”

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

What is the meaning of these lines of poetry? I think that Frost meant that although the unknown beauty of the woods was attractive, he needed to move along and take care of business or, keep his promises.

What in your life is tempting or distracting you away from promises you have made to yourself? This week, do some thinking about this. Write down what you learned and share your thoughts on our blog.

More to come next week!

Take good care!

It means staying faithful to our goals, our objectives, our dreams. To PRIORITIZE the many responsibilities and dreams we have and find which one is most needed at the moment.
