Time to Plan!

Based on what you have been exploring this month pick two or three goals that you have decided to work on for next year. Remember to consider health goals, professional career goals, relationship goals, community involvement goals, financial goals, etc.
  • Next, focusing on only one goal at a time, write a paragraph or so about what blocks or hindrances might be standing in the way of accomplishing this goal.

  • Brainstorm contingency strategies for what you will do to get through these blocks.

  • Then, imagine what it would be like if you worked through the blocks and do accomplish the goal.

  • It’s important to consider both the positive outcome you would like and the possible blocks. Both are necessary parts of the planning process.

  • Breaking your goal into do-able time blocks, use your on-line, electronic or paper-based calendar to schedule work sessions.

  • Repeat this process as often as necessary!
Let us know what you learned, by taking just a moment to share your experience below!

Take good care,
