Making Summer Work Fun

As you think about your summer plans and projects remember it really is okay to have fun! Instead of thinking about projects as drudgery, find ways to make things fun. For example:
  • If you want to get ahead on schoolwork for the fall, why not “play school” like you did when you were a child? Set up a space to work, pour yourself a cool drink and get to work. But don’t forget about recess!

  • If you intend to clean out the garage, why not do it to music? Why not dance as you toss and organize?

  • If you intend to learn some new cooking skills, why not invite over a few friends to learn together and then sit down and enjoy a scrumptious meal?

  • If you are planning on getting back to your personal journaling, why not splurge and go to an office supply store or an art store and pick out the journal you really want?
Spend some time jotting down ways to make summer work fun. Let us know what you came up with by taking just a moment to share your experience below!

Take good care,
