Mapping Your Way

Last week we talked about the magic of goals. Actually, goals aren’t really magic at all, but when you are on the right track, it might seem that way. Consider situations in which a road map or written plan might help:
  • You are building a new house and you need blueprints.

  • You are going shopping for a dinner party requiring specific ingredients and you need a shopping list.

  • You are visiting someplace you have never been before and you need written directions.

  • You have a complex project and you need to see all the steps.
Next time you are feeling off track, confused or out of sorts, stop for a moment. Consider your original goal. Go back to your written plan (or write one now), find the instructions (or make them up) or get a map (or make up your own).

Stay conscious of how mapping or a written plan can help. Share what you learned on out blog.

Take good care,
