Remember to Make Rest Stops

While written goals can be extremely helpful as you fill your daily bucket with the right priorities, remember to stop along the way to take time for rest, relaxation, and recovery. While you are also working hard, consider these questions:
  • Are you getting enough sleep at night?

  • Have you discovered the wonderful benefits of a brief nap during the day?

  • When was the last time you went to a movie?

  • When was the last time you took a leisurely stroll in a near-by park?

  • What was the last book you read “for fun?”

  • When was the last time you had a bubble bath?
This week, give some thought to activities that replenish and nourish you. The trick is to strike a healthy balance between working in a focused way on your goals and taking time to recover in-between. Do some writing on this topic and share your thoughts below!

Take good care,
