Harvest Your Gratitude

In the United States, the fourth Thursday of November is Thanksgiving Day. Among other things, the holiday commemorates a good harvest. This month, we will look at the concept of harvest in a broader way, by looking at abundance in all aspects of our lives.

Let’s start with the obvious. This week begin a list of the things in your life that you are grateful for. For example, consider:
  • Your home and where you live

  • Your means of transportation (car, bicycle, and public transportation)

  • The food you eat (the food you shop for, grow in your garden, and prepare)

  • The natural world around you (lakes, streams, rivers, oceans, forests, and mountains)
This week, spend some time jotting down the things you are grateful for. Notice how you feel as you make this list. Share what happens below.
