Getting Ready for School

When I was a kid, the first day of school was always the day after Labor Day. Now, in most places in the United States school starts some time in August. This month we will look at getting ready for school.

Even if you are not actually in school, this can still be a good time to get ready for autumn, a time to begin to look inwardly and prepare for learning in the months ahead. Consider:
  • What would you like to learn?

  • Are there adult education classes that interest you?

  • Is it time to take courses toward that degree you always intended to complete?

  • Are there personal projects you have been wanting to work on like studying a language, or tackling a particular book?
This week, even if you are not actually in school, focus on what getting ready to learn means for you right now. Makes notes and share what you discover below.

Take good care,
