Planning a Gratitude Visit

In this final week of our gratitude theme for this month, you might want to consider a gratitude visit.  Here are steps in a gratitude visit.
  • Think of someone who has meant a great deal to you and whom you have never properly thanked.
  • Sit down and right a letter describing in detail what you are grateful for regarding the recipient of your letter.

  • If it is at all possible, visit with the recipient and read the letter to him or her.

  • If this is not possible, you might also mail the letter, although there may be slightly less impact.

  • The remarkable thing about this gratitude exercise is that although it is lovely for the recipient to receive, it also promotes very positive feelings in the sender as well.
This week, write and if you are able, deliver a gratitude letter. Share your experience below.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for your readership of the Bucket Zine!

Take good care,
