Celebrating Independence

In the United States July 4th is Independence Day. It is often celebrated with great fanfare as it commemorates this nation’s freedom from Great Britain; but more then that, it celebrates becoming an independent nation. This month we will be looking at the theme of independence in our own lives.

Consider these questions:
  • What does independence mean to you?

  • What does independence allow you to do?

  • Are there ways in which you might be more independent?

  • How does independence impact how you feel about yourself?
This week, do some writing about what independence means to you personally. Share what you discover on our blog.
