Everyday Creativity

"Everyday creativity," a term coined by psychiatrist and professor Ruth Richards, refers to those everyday moments of creativity that each one of us experience, whether we recognize it or not. Consider these examples:
  • Arranging flowers in a vase.

  • Following a recipe, but changing the recipe and adding your own ingredients.

  • Arranging vegetables, cookies, or appetizers on a tray.

  • Setting a beautiful table.

  • Artfully arranging items on a shelf.
This week, notice the small ways you bring creativity to your life. Write down what you observe below.

Take good care!
