Spring Fever, Taxes & the “P” Word

In some areas of the country, spring is definitely in the air! If spring fever is just around the corner for you, or you haven’t completed your taxes yet, it might be a good time to face the “P” word. That’s right. Procrastination. I don’t actually know anyone who doesn’t procrastinate in some way. Each one of us has our own style of procrastinating.

Consider for a moment; what exactly do you procrastinate on?
  • Paying bills, organizing your finances?
  • Writing (e-mails, letters, notes)?
  • Making calls?
  • Calling the doctor, dentist, or other health professional?
  • Putting away clothes, books, dishes, tools, or equipment?
  • Filing papers, clearing off your desk, tackling piles?

What do you seldom procrastinate on?
  • Sitting down and reading?
  • Going out for a walk on a sunny day?
  • Drinking your morning coffee?

Without judging, what does this tell you about yourself?  Spend a few minutes writing about what you notice (of course, you can always do it tomorrow). Please feel free to share your thoughts or questions on this topic with me or discuss your response below.

Stay tuned for more,
