Grace Under Pressure

I don’t know about you, but for some reason this time of the year seems to get awfully busy for me, almost like a spring version of the last half of December. There are simply some days when priorities will be competing and it is really difficult to decide what needs to get done first. This month we will look at some solutions to what I think of as “Grace Under Pressure.”

What I am about to propose will not work for everyone but if you have several things you must get done, try this technique:
  • Select three to five different tasks
  • Set a timer for ten minutes
  • Work on one project with absolute focused concentration, no interruptions allowed!
  • After ten minutes, go onto the next project, again with absolute focus and no interruptions
  • Cycle through each of the tasks and begin the cycle again
What did you notice?

Try it and share your thoughts or questions with me or discuss your response on below.

More next week,

The 10 minutes methods does not work for me, but I really love your weekly email. I wrote PROCRASTINATE on a post-it and put it on my computer screen, to remind me of all the time I lost in my life and to remember your weekly wake-up calls :-)

the vacation ideas are great, I would like to do some form of them
all. Unfortunately money and time
seem to win out. I can't fit everything I would like to do in
the limited vacation time I have
and my finances don't allow me
to pursue most of the things I
dream of doing.
