Remember the school essay you had to write the first day back in school in the fall—How I Spent My Summer Vacation?  Here’s a little trick to keep your priorities in order for this summer. Make some notes about what you would write in your imaginary How I Spent My Summer Vacation essay.

Will you want to report that you:

• Finished a big thing you have been putting off, like cleaning the garage, or completing a sewing project?
• Finally got your home office in working order?
• Got outdoors and swam, bicycled, walked or ran?
• Finished the articles you were writing or re-designed your website?
• Took a great summer school course?

A little bit of fantasizing in advance can help you to focus on how you want to spend your summer!
