Take a Mini Vacation

Whether or not you have actual vacation plans this summer, you can take a mini vacation any day of the week. A mini vacation can be whatever you want it to be, whatever renews, refreshes, or revitalizes you.  Here are some suggested ways to enjoy the feeling of escaping, without having to go anywhere:
  • Get outdoors! Get out of your office or house, take a cool drink, and sit outside.
  • Find a book you want to read, not should read and make sure you read a little bit of it everyday.
  • Create something! Whether it’s arranging flowers, baking cookies, or building a birdhouse, creating renews you.
  • Find a different way to do something you do everyday, like find a new route to the grocery store, home from the office, or explore a street you have never walked down before.
What are your ideas for taking a mini vacation this summer?
