How Can Challenges Strengthen You?

We began this month with considering March, the month that comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. We’ve looked at parts of our lives that also reflect these opposites. This week we’ll consider the advantages of having ups and downs, good days and bad days, and conflicting inner thoughts and feelings.

Think about:
  • Wouldn’t it be boring if every day were the same?
  • Isn’t variety the spice of life?
  • What would you learn if you were never challenged?
  • How could you build resiliency muscles if everything was always exactly the same?
Remember, conflicts and opposing forces, while challenging us also strengthen who we are. Spend some time this week considering the benefits of struggles you personally have been through or you are anticipating. Make some notes about what you learn and let us know what happens by taking just a moment to share your experience below!
