Random? Maybe or Maybe Not!

I had an opportunity to see a wonderful musical earlier this week. “1776” portrayed the founding fathers and a series of events that led to the birth of the United States. In some ways our nation’s history seems random, but with a closer look, you might notice:

• The whole process began with at least one person’s very clear vision.
  
  
• Achieving the goal of creating a nation took a tremendous amount of effort.
  
  
• Without dissatisfaction of the status quo, nothing would have changed.

This coming week, think and do some writing about the vision you have for your own life. Consider these questions:

1. What in your life is not working for you?
2. What is it that you want to achieve instead?
3. How hard are you willing to work to get what you want?
