Create the Blue Sky Habit

This week, continue to add to your list of Blue Sky Goals. If you haven’t started; get going now. If you have started, keep going! Contrary to what you might think, you are more likely to have goals that are too limited rather than too big. Here are some examples:
  • I want to finish the novel I started writing three years ago. (How about, I want to finish the novel I started three years ago and start a second novel?)

  • I want to get to my ideal weight. (How about, I want to get to my ideal weight and stay there for five years?)

  • I want to travel to every state in the United States. (How about, I want to travel to every state and to every continent?)

  • I want to run in a 5K race. (How about running in a 10K race?)
The idea is to think big and learn to expand your goals beyond what you thought possible. Later in this series, we’ll look at specifics for how to accomplish your goals, but for now, think big!
