Have You Done Your SDA Today?

Single Daily Actions (SDA) provide the day to day tiny steps that fuel any long term goal. What exactly is a Single Daily Action? A SDA is any small activity that is repeated day after day towards the completion of a goal. Here are some examples:
  • You want to lose 15 pounds by the end of the year. A Single Daily Action might be to write down what you eat for the day (studies show that recording what you eat automatically impacts your food choices). Or it might be 30 minutes of exercise per day.

  • You want to finish writing your novel in the next six months. A Single Daily Action might be to write for a minimum of 20 minutes a day, no matter what.

  • You have been avoiding cleaning out your closet for months. A Single Daily Action might be to spend 15 minutes a day sorting out a small section of the closet.
This week, decide on a Single Daily Action toward one of your goals. Share what happens below.

Take good care,
