Can't vs. Won't

This week, we will be looking at another small change that can have big results. Consider the use of the word "can't" vs. the use of the word "won't." Consider these comments:
  • I can't get it done; there isn't enough time.
  • I can't change the way I do things; I've always done it this way.
  • I can't do it; I'll never make it.
  • I can't even start; it's too overwhelming.
This week, notice when you say "can't." Jot down each incident. Then go back through your list and substitute "won't" for "can't." Notice what happens.

Remember, "Those who say it can't be done should get out of the way of those who are doing it."
