When does the Breakthrough Moment Come?

In our blog this month we have been discussing small things that make big changes. I’ve noticed lately that just when I’m ready to quit there is a moment when just a little more effort will make a big difference. Consider:
  • You have been cleaning out the garage and have worked hard all day. You really want to sit down and put your feet up, but you realize working just 30 minutes more and you’ll be done.

  • You have been writing a report and struggling with every page. You are about to quit, but decide to work for 15 minutes more, and voilà! Suddenly everything you have written seems to fall into place.

  • You have just done several laps in the swimming pool. Four more and you will break your own record.

This week notice what happens when a little more effort makes a lot of difference.

Take good care,

My best friend is now my caregiver. Since I can only do a few steps, he does all of 'household'chores. We both use humor ALL the Time! This is what keeps our relationship happy and very 'do-able'! I learned this from my father as I grew up and it still works VERY well, [and, I see my [grown] childen now use it,too.
