Summer Fun

It seems the summer fun bug has bitten me. This month we will be talking about having fun, or making things fun, even if you don’t have a summer vacation planned. Think about how you can make routine tasks more playful. Consider these ideas:
  • Doing the dishes or cleaning out the garage? Listen to music as you work.

  • Clearing out papers or old files? Try wadding up paper and shooting for the recycling bin.

  • Dusting and vacuuming the house? Dance your way from room to room.

  • Have a pile of bills to pay? Set up a reward for yourself when you finish.

  • Washing your car in the driveway? Invite some kids to join you and wear your swimming suit.

  • Grocery shopping to do? Hum along with the background music in the store.
This week, focus on having fun while doing every day tasks. Notice what you discover.

Share what you observe below.

Take good care,
