Balancing What's Working and What Needs Work

This month we have been reviewing the basic concept of filling your daily bucket well by choosing to do your highest priority items first. If this sounds like a constant balancing act, that’s because it is! Time management specialists have found that a weekly check-in can help provide this balance. Here are some ideas to set-up such a check-in each week:
  • Select a time that you will set aside every week to review what went well and what needs improvement from the past week.

  • Commit to meeting with yourself to do your weekly check-in every single week at the same time.

  • Look at your behaviors and activities objectively and in as much as possible, without judgment.

  • Before you finish your check-in meeting, decide on your highest priorities for the coming week
This week, commit to beginning a weekly check-in meeting to both review your behavior and actions from the past week, and plan your priorities for the coming week. Make notes and share what you discover on our blog.
Take good care,
