This week, each evening before you go to sleep, think of three positive things that happened during the day. Of course, if you prefer, you can do the exercise in the morning and list three good things that happened the prior day.
Consider these examples:
- Today I had lunch with a friend I haven’t seen in months and it felt great to see her again.
- I began reading a new book and can hardly put it down!
- I got all my bills paid and in the mail.
- I was able to fix the washing machine by myself!
Try this exercise for a week and write down three positive things each day. Share what you learn below.
