Gratitude in Little Ways

Continuing on our gratitude theme for this month, this week we will look at ways to be grateful for little things. Consider these small and important actions:
  • You are at the door of your office, balancing your briefcase, a stack of mail, a cup of coffee and your lunch. Someone behind you runs ahead and opens the door for you.

  • You are hurrying through a shopping mall, trying to finish some errands and get home. Suddenly, someone taps you on the shoulder. As you turn around, you see someone holding your sunglasses. You realize your sunglasses had fallen out of your purse.

  • You have a hair appointment at a new salon. Before you can say, “I’m here to see…” the receptionist smiles and greets you by your first name.
This week, begin to notice the small things you are grateful for or good things that come to you unexpectedly. Start a list and watch it grow. Share your experience below.

Take good care,
