Celebrate Small Successes

Continuing with our theme of celebration for this month, this week I want to discuss celebrating small successes. Big milestone successes are more obvious and more likely to be noticed––graduation, completing a book, or purchasing a new car. But what about the smaller successes it took to get there? Here’s what I mean:
  • You have been working on a report that will take several days to complete, but today you definitely made progress.

  • You tried a new, challenging recipe and got great results.

  • You went to the dentist and had a perfect check-up.

  • You lost your favorite earrings over a month ago and today you found them.
This week pay attention to small accomplishments, and write them down. Create a small celebration for your accomplishments, but make sure it is something you enjoy. Notice how it feels to do celebrate in small ways. Share your feelings below.

Take good care,
