Another Perspective

Earlier this month I introduced the term "Traveling Adventures," meaning essentially, travel misadventures. But there is also another perspective to travel misadventures. I could continue to be unhappy or I might consider if I learned anything. For example:

• It might be a good idea to double check airline reservations
  
  
• I might consider not pre-paying for a hotel
  
  
• I should always ask whether or not a hotel has air conditioning 

Or, I could consider a change in perspective. For example:

• Travel is essentially about doing something new and different
  
  
• Part of traveling is having adventures or misadventures, as the case may be 

This week, do some thinking about travel misadventures you have had in the past and if there is anything you can learn from the experience. Write down what you learn and share your thoughts below.
