While “traveling adventures” might imply new and exciting escapades, I use it here as a euphemism. Let me explain. I’ve just returned from a trip in which: - A change in my flight had mistakenly not been correctly updated, causing an eight-hour delay.
- The delay caused me to miss a pre-paid theatre performance.
- The pre-paid hotel had no air conditioning and I arrived the day before the hottest day of the year.
- I missed a second theatre performance because the public transport system had a city-wide shutdown.
