Last week I stated that committing to five minutes of journal writing a day would help establish this extremely helpful and important habit. Why is that so?
- The hardest part is starting; do that and the words will come. I promise.
- When you start without hesitating, you trick yourself into continuing.
How do you start?
- It’s okay to start writing when you have no idea what word will come next; in fact, it is often best to write this way.
- Consider using this very sophisticated method: Step One - Put your butt in the chair. Step Two – Put your fingers on the keyboard or use your fingers and pick up a pen.
