Can You Make it Simpler?

In the last few weeks I have discussed reviewing your goals for the remainder of the year. You’ll notice on your calendar that there are about 100 days left in the year. Think about it. Do you really want to dismiss goals because it’s “too late” to do work on a big project?

Consider these questions:
  • Is there a way to make the project simpler?
  • Can you keep the essence of what you want to accomplish, but do it in fewer steps?
  • Are you able to let go of perfectionist standards to get the job done?
For example:
  • Can you start a first draft of an article without needing to complete it right now?
  • Can you create a menu for a gathering that would require less preparation time?
  • Can you break a project into smaller steps for a greater sense of accomplishment?
This week, consider how you might re-frame goals and projects to make your life simpler.

Share what you learned below.

Take good care!
