The expression, “my plate is full,” resonates with us for a reason. I’m not just talking about cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. What does this metaphor mean in your life:
- Too much to do?
- Conflicting priorities?
- Too many demands from others?
- All of the above?
Whatever it means for you, this month we’ll look at what to do when your life plate is too full. Consider:
- What can you not do at this time?
- What can be re-scheduled for another time?
- Of the things you have to do, what offers the most reward?
- In spite of what you have to do, is there anything you are doing for self-care?
This week, do some writing about what is filling up your plate and what changes you can make right now.
