How Do You Want to Feel?

How did you do last week, writing your goals or intentions? Author Danielle LaPorte suggests another way to think about setting goals. She suggests, rather than writing down goals or intentions, you write down how you want to feel; then write down what you need to do to feel that way. Consider:
  • I want to feel free
  • I want to feel energized
  • I want to feel as if I matter
  • I want to feel appreciated
What if instead of stating the end goal, you started with what you wanted to feel, then figured out how to get there?

Experiment this week with the feelings you would like to feel and do some writing about it.
