Whatever your political affiliation, consider what it would be like to have no choice in an election. Or consider what it would be like to have no freedom of choice at all. Consider these scenarios:
- Going to the grocery store and finding only one brand of food.
- Going shopping for clothes and everything looks exactly the same.
- Going to the library or a bookstore and there are many copies, but only one book.
- Going to a movie or turning on your television and there is only one show.
This week consider what your life would be like if you had no freedom of choice. It may sound like a strange thing to consider, but it will likely provide some perspective on the freedom you actually do have. Make some notes and share your thoughts below.
