Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness

Between last month’s Independence Day celebration and the upcoming election in November, you probably can tell I’ve been thinking a lot about freedom, politics, and electing how we want to live.

A phrase from the Declaration of Independence has always been especially meaningful to me. The right to "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” Of course I am not running for office and I think of this phrase more in terms of what it means for personal growth, not politics.

What do these words mean to you? How do you think and feel about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in your own life?

This week, do some writing about this phrase. See if you find out anything that surprises you!

Make some notes and share your thoughts below.

Take good care!
