Pursuing a Path of Happiness

The other day, I was chatting with a friend who had recently moved. She was describing her experience and summed it up with, "I'm happy.

Isn’t that what we all really want––to be happy? Yet for each of us, the path to happiness will be different. The Dalai Lama advises:  "Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions." Imagine that: Your happiness comes from your own actions. That’s a pretty powerful statement

Over the next several weeks, we will be looking more closely at exactly what it means to be happy. I’ll share suggestions, actions, and the actual science behind happiness.

But for now, do some writing about what makes you happy. Try writing it as a list, as a story, or just as ideas come to you.

Share your thoughts below.

Take good care!
