Is Your Glass Half Full?

You now know that whatever the circumstances of your life, you have the potential to make significant changes. Think for a moment about the people in your life that you like being around. Let’s call these folks the Glass Half Full group. Consider these questions:
  • Why do you like to be around these people? For example, are they pleasant, upbeat, or optimistic?

  • How do these people make you feel? For example, do you feel good about yourself, positive, or uplifted?
Now consider the people you don’t enjoy being around. Let’s call these folks the Glass Half Empty group. Consider these questions:
  • Why do you not like to be around these people? For example, are they unpleasant, critical, or negative?

  • How do these people make you feel? For example, do you feel down, out-of-sorts, or negative?
This week, just notice the people in your life. To which group do they belong?
