- When you are able, extend a hand to someone in need. Just a small gesture will bring you an immediate sense of calm and “normalcy.”
- You may want to express your anxiety or discomfort, which is also perfectly fine and normal, but not at the expense of someone else.
- Look for solutions to your situation. Try not to play the blame game. It will only make you and others around you feel worse.
- Even in the middle of what may seem like total chaos, try to remain grateful for at least one thing in your life.
