More Reasons to Write Down Your Plans

Hanging on the bulletin board in front of the desk where I write, I just now glanced up to see these words, “Plans Once Written Come Alive!” Last week we looked at how writing down your plans increases the likelihood of accomplishing your goals. Here are even more reasons to write down your plans:
  • Writing down your plans energizes them, or as noted above makes them come alive.

  • Seeing something written down like an appointment will give it more of a sense of importance or urgency. If for example you look at your calendar and see a dental appointment you’ll show up, not just think it might be a good idea to go to the dentist.

  • Writing down your plan of action helps keep you organized and focused. Anytime you can get things out of your head and onto paper, you are helping yourself stay focused on the task at hand.

  • Writing down your plans can help you to feel significantly calmer.
Let us know what you learned, by taking just a moment to share your experience below!

Take good care,

This rings so true,Susan...

"Writing down your plans can help you to feel significantly calmer."

In this day and age, anything we can do to reduce stress, and calm down a bit, goes a long way. You youngsters out there will soon discover that having a list of chores or errands (and remembering where the heck you put it) will make life so much easier!

All the best,
