Looking Backward, Planning Forward

December is a great time for looking backward and planning forward—our theme for this month. Please do find a few uninterrupted quiet minutes to consider and make some notes:
  • Slowly, month by month, go through the whole year and write down what you accomplished. Include big things like earning a degree, purchasing a new home or car, becoming a parent or a grandparent.

  • Include time-consuming things like cleaning the garage, clearing your storage unit, organizing all the stuff in your basement or attic.

  • Include smaller things like organizing the kitchen junk drawer, re-cycling clothes that no longer fit or you no longer wear, or alphabetizing your CD collection.

  • Include things that you have been wanting to do for a very long time and had been avoiding like writing an important letter or e-mail, apologizing to a relative or friend you have lost touch with, or re-paying a long overdue loan.
Notice how you feel when you complete this list.

Let us know what you learned, by sharing taking just a moment to share your experience below!

Take good care,
