Create a “Someday Maybe” Bucket

Business guru David Allen suggests keeping a “Someday Maybe” list of those things that you might want to do someday, but that may not be part of your everyday activities. The purpose of the “Someday Maybe” list is to acknowledge those ideas, dreams, potential projects, and plans that don’t have to be done anytime soon, but you don’t want to forget about forever. Here are some samples to consider:
  • Learn a new language
  • Learn to do ballroom dancing
  • Ride a horse (or camel or elephant)
  • Travel to all the states you have never visited
  • Learn to play a musical instrument
  • Start your novel
  • Finish making a quilt
  • Run a marathon
Remember, you never have to do any of the things on your list unless you choose to, but it’s fun to consider the possibilities!

Begin your own “Someday Maybe” list and let us know your thoughts by taking a moment to share your experience below!

Take good care,
