A Bucket Full of Quietude

This month we will be discussing something not talked about much. As a matter of fact there’s not much talking involved. Before we get into summer mode, let’s take this month to consider Quietude. Meaning, Quiet. Tranquil. Peaceful. Stillness.

Consider these questions:
  • How does quiet make you feel?

  • How much quiet is in your life?

  • How much life is in the quiet?

  • What does quiet sound like?

  • What are the sounds of silence?
This week, focus on the quiet that follows sound: after a bird stops singing, a baby stops crying, music is turned off, or noise is diminished. Listen and observe. Write down what you notice and feel.
