- From my mother I learned to smile when I answer the phone. You can actually hear a smile in someone’s voice.
- From my father I have been blessed (or cursed) with a good sense of humor. I can't help it; sometimes funny things just pop out of my mouth.
- From my grandmother I have learned to dress "nicely," even when dressing casually.
- From my aunt I have learned to serve and present food more creatively and aesthetically.
This week, spend a few minutes thinking about the special things you have learned from a loved one you have lost. Jot down what comes up for you and notice what you feel. Share what you learn below.
