The want, doing, and feeling exercise I have written about for the last two weeks, is essentially a way to focus inwardly on what is happening in the moment. This might also be described as mindfulness. Consider what it would feel like being more mindful at these times:
- When you wake up in the morning.
- Before an important meeting with a client.
- Spending quality time with your partner, a loved one, or a good friend.
- When you are about to sit down for a meal.
In the week ahead, slow down a little bit and take some moments to be mindful. Just stop, pay attention to what is going around within you and around you.
