Getting Ready to Go

I am traveling for the first part of this month, which may be evident in my remarks over the next few weeks. Is it just me or do other people feel overwhelmed by the experience of planning for a trip? Why is it I feel any project or task I have ever thought of doing suddenly must be completed before I leave? What creates this urgency? Think about:
  • What is your own experience of getting ready to go out of town, be it a weekend away, a conference for work, or a family vacation?

  • Do you enjoy the process of getting ready?

  • Is getting there half the fun?

  • Do you have particular patterns that come up when you are about to travel?

  • What have you learned about yourself in terms of how you prepare before leaving home?
Try giving this some thought and make some notes.

Take good care!
